The coolest weather map online, just remember is is a LARGE file so any low latency devices will be affected during the download ... oh and give it time to come down before you start scrolling around.
POGO.com yeah you know I am a gamer, this is a little more casual than running tactical shooting sims in your basement, but there is something addictive with POGO Bowling and it is FREE!
Ever wonder what gaming nerds read online? The Escapist Magazine is a great little online rag that tries to keep an offline appeal the format is quite interesting.
Summer TV Watching is a little slow too ... only two series caught my interest and even those have to be put on TIVO for later .... Burn Notice, who doesn't like an "Action Comedy" that has a Spy thriller side. Predictable and the writers treat you like an idiot but it is interesting to watch. Ice Road Truckers on the History network is an interesting show, it has recently put me in my place regarding language ... to hear a trucker talk and swear etc and then in the next breath say how he trusts Jesus to get him through (don't worry, they beep it out the curses) makes me think about my testimony when my flesh is weak ...
To much no the spiritual side to deal with today ... maybe this weekend.
Psalm 133 (NRSV)
How very good and pleasant it is
when kindred live together in unity!
It is like the precious oil on the head,
running down upon the beard,
on the beard of Aaron,
running down over the collar of his robes.
It is like the dew of Hermon,
which falls on the mountains of Zion.
For there the LORD ordained his blessing,
What an awesome picture, I remember standing in Israel (thanks dad and mom) and looking at those snow capped peaks off in the distance, then the streams around us later that day, the lake, all the commerce and people that live around it... an awesome picture to see in person but a great perspective for Christians that respect the order God has put in this world.
